Subject: Silicon Valley Shared Business Office Now Ready to Host Bangladeshi ICT Companies

Santa Clara, CA - March 31, 2003 - Bangladesh ICT Business Center (BICTBC), based in Silicon Valley, Santa Clara, California, is pleased to announce the immediate availability of its services to Bangladeshi ICT Companies.

BICTBC aims to promote business for Bangladeshi ICT firms in USA and other international markets. BICTBC can act as a one-stop international office for these companies, providing administrative support and other office amenities at a prime location in Silicon Valley, California. Other turnkey services that can be arranged through the office include active assistance in sales, marketing and market research for the participating firms.

The office facilities consist of 2000 square feet premises, including a number of shared office rooms and conference rooms, with all the required technical services and support. The Business Center is outfitted with broadband connections, networked PCs, and servers. Each subscribing company will have dedicated telephone lines, Internet connections, and email access to conduct business. The goal of BICTBC is to open up opportunities and niche markets for Bangladeshi ICT products, and to facilitate partnerships with the US companies in the relevant fields. Initiated by Bangladesh Ministry of Commerce and assisted by the Project Coordination Unit of Bangladesh Export Diversification Project, the office is fully financed by the World Bank. With logistic and execution support from the American Association of Bangladeshi Engineers and Architects (AABEA) Silicon Valley Chapter, BICTBC will strive to make available to Bangladeshi companies the rich connections and skill-sets of local Non-Resident Bangladeshi (NRB) professionals.
